Nottingham, a city in the East Midlands region of England, has been actively working towards a greener future, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure is a key part of this vision. The city has installed a number of charging points in public areas and private locations to make EV charging accessible and convenient for residents and visitors.

There are currently over 50 EV charging points in Nottingham, with the majority located in public car parks and on-street parking spaces. The city council has also installed charging points in council-owned car parks and is working with private businesses and organisations to encourage the installation of charging points on their premises.

In addition to traditional charging points, Nottingham also has a number of rapid charging stations, which can charge an EV to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes. These rapid charging stations are located at strategic points throughout the city, such as the Victoria Centre car park and the Nottingham Racecourse car park.

  • 3 We’ll provide a quote for the work required based on the survey and charger you’d like installing.
  • 4 Once the quote has been agreed, a provisional date will be booked anda deposit may be taken at this stage.
  • 5 We’ll submit an application to your Distribution Network Provider.Once permission has been agreed, we’ll arrange an installation date.
  • 6 We’ll complete your installation, make sure everything’s working as it should, and send an invoice through. We’ll also provide an Electrical Installation Certificate. We’ll be in touch again to make sure everything’s running smoothly.
